Editorial Team
GTMPicker is researched and written by the GTMPicker Editorial Team — a small group with hands-on experience operating B2B GTM stacks across SDR, RevOps, and founder-led sales motions.
What we cover
We track 40 cornerstone tools across two adjacent categories: AI sales and outbound (Apollo, Clay, Smartlead, Instantly, Lemlist, Hunter, and 19 others) and AI meeting and conversation intelligence (Granola, Fathom, Otter, Fireflies, Gong, Avoma, and 9 others). The full catalog lives on the Tools page.
Editorial standards
- Independent. We accept affiliate commissions but never accept payment for favorable placement. Sponsored content is labeled “Sponsored” in line with FTC guidance.
- Verified data. Every pricing tier, founding date, and feature listed has a
lastVerifieddate. Entries older than 45 days are flagged for re-verification. - No fabricated facts. If a vendor hides pricing behind a sales call, we mark it “Contact sales” rather than guess. See methodology for sourcing detail.
- Honest tradeoffs. Every detailed tool page lists pros and cons. We don’t omit cons to protect commissions.
- First-hand testing. The Editorial Team tests tools directly — free trials, paid pilots, and real outbound sequences — to validate claims that vendors make on their pricing pages.
How decisions get made
Tool rankings are based on the data we collect, not popularity contests. When a guide ranks tool A above tool B, the reasoning is in the body — pricing math, feature gap, deliverability benchmark, or buyer-fit framework. Disagree? Email hello@gtmpicker.com and tell us what we got wrong; we update guides when we’re wrong and document the change in the repo history.
